Alvaro Morata will not go to Barcelona. The club resigned from the candidacy for the striker for the Spanish national team.
Morata went to Barcelona several weeks ago. According to “RAC1”, the operation turned out to be impossible for several reasons.
The 29-year-old currently plays for Juventus but is on loan from Atletico Madrid. The Spaniards did not want to strengthen their rival from the Spanish League, so they made exorbitant demands. They insisted that Morata move to Camp Nou on a permanent transfer, which is not financially acceptable to Barcelona.
There were more obstacles – the footballer’s financial requirements and procedural issues. Barcelona will soon confirm the transfer of Adama Traore, who will occupy the last free spot in the squad. If Ousmane Dembele does not leave the Camp Nou, the club will not be able to bring the next new player into the competition.
Barcelona signed two new players in January: Dani Alves and Ferran Torres. Traore will be the third.
