Shots were fired at the Mall of America, the largest shopping mall in the United States, on the outskirts of Minneapolis. According to preliminary findings, police started an argument between two groups of customers at the checkout of a store. No one was injured and police are searching for the culprit.
Police confirmed Thursday that shots were fired at the complex, believed to be the ninth largest in the world. Authorities are investigating the circumstances of the incident. As they promised, the facility was guarded by a large police force.

Police: Argument started between customers at checkout
Footage shows customers fleeing a large shopping mall after the screaming man fired his handgun at least three times. Amateur footage also shows armed guards searching for the culprit. According to preliminary findings of the police, the shooting happened after an argument broke out between two groups of customers at the checkout of one of the stores.
“One video showed customers fleeing from an amusement park on the lower floor of a large shopping mall with children and shopping bags in their arms. Another showed several policemen with guns, (…) and people quickly leaving the large inner atrium “- reported the agency AP.
