Recently we were able to read information that officers will be able to confiscate vehicles in Poland. As you can see, this type of practice is established not only in our country. In India, tax services recently confiscated more than a dozen sports cars due to tax arrears. And we’re not just talking about any vehicles, because the list includes cars like Lamborghini, Maserati and Ferrari.
Do you have tax arrears? The government can pick up your car! Doesn’t look good!
Kara mainly met young Indian drivers who now have to say goodbye to their cars for a while. The Hyderabad Tax Office acquired cars such as the Lamborghini Huracan or Maserati, Rolls Royce and Ferrari. The loss of such a car must have harmed the owners of such cars. Why were drivers fined? Well, because the tax authority after investigation came to the conclusion that the above cars drove on the roads of Hyderabad, although they are registered in other regions.
Drivers used this “trick” to avoid paying higher taxes. Tax arrears are estimated at around 50 million rupees, which equates to a few high-quality cars. Therefore, drivers of such vehicles now face a lot of problems. It is a good thing that we do not have such strict regulations, because perhaps a few “cwaniaczków” miscalculate their collections. But on the other hand, there is also no need to move from extremes to extremes.
The tax system is what it is, but it must be respected. Otherwise, severe penalties may be imposed…
The tax system in India is specific, but you have to follow it – just like any system in a particular country. Drivers did not do this, so now they will have to pay a large amount of money. We sincerely sympathize with them…
