The fifth edition of the Katowice Science Festival in Silesia includes several hundred performances, lectures and meetings with interesting people, including famous people from the world of science. Among the diverse offerings geared towards people from kindergarten to 99 years old, there is a large selection of events related to astronomy and space exploration.

The Silesian Science Festival KATOWICE is currently one of the most popular science events in Poland and Europe. It has an international character – it is part of the European Association for Scientific Participation.

The 5th Silesian Science Festival KATOWICE is a full week of meetings with science from October 9 (Saturday) to October 15 (Friday). There are 679 items in the festival programme, 102 in the exact sciences, 51 of which are related to physics. These are lectures, discussions, presentations and workshops for children and adolescents. There is Lim District, Science City, Science Stage (Sunday), Technology Day (Tuesday), and Science Day (Thursday). There is a lot to choose from.

Below, we will present you with dozens of interesting lectures, workshops and presentations, including one interesting discussion chosen from among the phenomenal performances. The common feature between them is that they relate to topics related to astronomy and space research.
