Draghi, Macron and Schulze are on their way to Kyiv

Italian news agency ADNKronos reported Wednesday evening that Italian Prime Minister Mario Draghi, French President Emmanuel Macron and German Chancellor Olaf Schulz are on their way to Kyiv. On Thursday, the three leaders will meet with Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky.

The agency confirms that Draghi, Macron and Schulze send a strong message of solidarity with Zelensky and the Ukrainian people to the Ukrainian capital.

And Ansa notes that it is likely that the topic of the talks in Kyiv will be the weapons that Ukraine requests, stressing that the task of the “troika” will not be easy.

The commander of the Ukrainian Armed Forces, General Valery Zaluzhny, announced, on Wednesday, that the Russian forces are trying to attack in the Luhansk region, eastern Ukraine, simultaneously in nine directions. The Russians use aviation, missile systems and artillery.

“The enemy has mobilized its main offensive forces in the north of the oblast and is trying to attack simultaneously in nine directions,” Al-Zayouni said in a statement posted on Telegram.

General Zaoni added that Severodonetsk remains the center of defensive operations of the Ukrainian forces.
