On Monday (18.07), three free daily camps for children from Bialystok and Ukraine began. This year’s holiday includes a total of 10 camps, in which 250 children will participate – 50 from Bialystok and 200 from Ukraine.

The project covers children and youth from first to eighth grade of primary school. 25 children will participate in each stay. The day camp plan includes, among other things, games in Vikoland, going to the movies and a bowling alley, or various inclusion activities.
Among the goals, the organizers mentioned not only comprehensive development, but also stimulated the desire for active vacations and education through openness to other cultures. The program also includes time to learn Polish.
– These lessons, through active play and the involvement of all day camp participants in teamwork, will contribute to increasing the language skills of children from Ukraine – confirms Rafai Rudniki, Deputy Mayor of Białystok.
