A symptom of golfer’s elbow is pain on the inner (medial) side of the elbow that increases when the wrist is flexed, for example when saying hello by shaking hands or turning a doorknob, and when carrying groceries.

At first, the pain occurs only when making certain movements, but after a while, when the disease is not treated, the pain persists, even when the hand (elbow) is at rest.

The mainstay of treatment is to reduce strenuous activities, such as temporarily stopping exercise. The next step is to change your habits, i.e. learn the correct technique of exercise or work, and take frequent breaks to loosen your arm.

Cold compresses provide relief, as well as a special stabilizer position that reduces the load on the elbow.
