Jim Ryan once officially confirmed his desire to enlist more development teams – this short message was enough to keep the community waiting for more big moves from PlayStation and PlayStation Studios’ re-expansion. The latest discovery indicates that the rumors may be confirmed, and that the giant’s “new acquisition” will be Kojima Productions.
Hideo Kojima, after separating from Konami, signed a contract to work with PlayStation, however Kojima Productions remained an independent studio. With the release of the unusual game Death Stranding on the market, the team was very successful – the title was also released on PC, and even received an extended version.
There have been rumors about the future of the Japanese for a long time, combining his projects with several publishers. We know the team has been working on at least one secret title for a long time, while in recent weeks there has been a move from a popular building – this change has already given rise to a number of speculations about Kojima Productions’ future. The latest discovery only feeds into the prediction.
Yesterday Sony updated the PlayStation Studios tab, with a new banner appearing – new graphics have been added showing Aloy, Gran Turismo, MLB, but also … Death Stranding. Hideo Kojima’s production replaced the hero from Concrete Genie.

But that’s not all, as it turns out that Sam Porter’s adventure has also been added to the “Discover more games from PlayStation Studios” tab.
We can’t be sure that the production inclusion isn’t a minor mistake, but this small change has sparked more expectations and comments about Hideo Kojima’s additional actions.
