This wasn’t the message PlayStation fans were counting on. Horizon Forbidden West won’t actually debut on the market in 2021. We know the release date, but we’ll have to wait for the adventure until next year – but we can run the first part of the series in 60fps.
All rumors have just been confirmed. Guerrilla games need more time and the expected production for the PlayStation 5 and PlayStation 4 will not appear only in 2021.
On Opening Night Live, we received confirmation of the release date – Horizon Forbidden West will officially start on February 18, 2022. A representative of the Sony studio appeared at the Geoff Keighley concert, confirming that world events had delayed work on the adventure. Players will have to wait for attractions, but pre-orders will start on September 2.
It’s a pity that the developers haven’t prepared new materials so players can check out what Horizon Forbidden West is currently like. Positive news? Horizon Zero Dawn has received an update, thanks to which production runs at 60 frames per second on PlayStation 5.
