Inaugural conference for the creation of the Collegium Intermarium with the participation of Minister Przemysław Czarnek
Today, May 28, the Minister of Education and Science participated in the inaugural conference for the establishment of Collegium Intermarium – an international university that will start its activity in the academic year 2021/2022.
The creation of the Collegium Intermarium, a university that gives freedom to academic debate, is very important and valuable in today’s world. Because only freedom of academic debate and freedom of science can lead to the discovery of the truth – said Minister Przemyslav Ksarnik.
The university’s activity was inaugurated during a scientific conference organized in the Central Agricultural Library in Warsaw. The event was also attended by the Minister of Culture, National Heritage and Sports, Prof. Piotr Gliński, academics, politicians, and social leaders from Poland and other countries in Central and Eastern Europe.
– It is worth remembering the important words that third millennium Europe will be either Christian or not at all, at least as we know it from the 2000 years in which we grew up, what we want for our future generations – emphasized the Minister.
The mission of the Collegium Intermarium is to educate based on the classic values of European civilization: Roman legal culture, Greek philosophy and Christian ethics. Its mission is to create a platform for international discussion and research on the major social, legal and economic challenges it faces.
Collegium Intermarium is a university that offers, first of all, consolidated master’s studies in law and postgraduate studies in fields that have no analogues in Polish universities.
