Greater Poland Police spokesman, Young Inspector Andrzej Borowiak said that on Saturday the Warsaw FC fans attacked the family of Warta Poznań fans. “He was attacked by a 13-year-old, his 48-year-old father and 71-year-old grandfather,” Bruyak recalled.
As he explained, attacking Warta fans were driving from Pozna to the match in Grodzisk Wielkopolski when their car broke down near Stryków. “They stood on the side of the road, and at one time a car with five Warsaw fans stopped next to them, who beat hard all three and stole the Warta Poznan shirt from the 13-year-olds” – described Borojak.
He pointed out that the policemen identified the perpetrators of the robbery and detained them in Grodzisk and Wielkopolsky. Finally, two of them were released because they were not actively involved in the attack.

The remaining three residents of Warsaw and nearby cities, aged between 21 and 31, were charged with theft. As noted by Borowiak, one of the suspects has been punished in the past, all of whom are associated with the Legia Warszawa supporter community.
According to the Criminal Code, theft is punishable by imprisonment for up to 12 years.
