PGE Skra Bełchatów has published a statement on central health. Matthew Pjanic had a broken rib, and doctors estimated the treatment time for the injury to be between four and six weeks.
However, the competitor does not want to pause while a battle begins in the Medals Zone in PlusLiga. Skra eliminated Indykpol AZS Olsztyn in the Polish Championship quarter-finals, and on Saturday will start the semi-final series against Jastrzębski Węgiel.
– I want to return to the team as soon as possible to help in the fight for the Polish championship medal. I feel reasonably good, but it’s up to the medical staff to decide whether or not to play in the next match. Perhaps we will find out before the meeting itself – Bieńek quotes on the club’s official website.
Bieniek will go with the team to Jastrzębie-Zdrój. He’s the key midfield player this season, with 60 aces leading him to the league. In the previous match, Sebastian Adamczyk was a substitute for the injured Piecic.
