When Czesław Michniewicz became the coach of the Polish national team, he immediately went on tour. He traveled throughout Europe, meeting candidates for the national team. He wanted to convey his views on the game to the players. As it turned out later, it came with the expected result. Biało-Czerwoni advanced to the World Championships in Qatar, defeating Sweden in Chorzów.

After his big win, Michnewich did not rest for long. He left for meetings again. First, he had some stops in Europe and then flew to the United States. There are many players in the local league – now or in the future – that can be taken into account by the general manager.

Migniewicz met Adam Buksa, Karol Świderski, Patryk Klimala and Gabriel Słonina – a 17-year-old goalkeeper. Not only the Polish national team but also the United States is seeking his help.

However, the selector did not just look at the players. On social media, he posed for a photo with Polish boxer Tomas Adamek.
