Opening of the Clinical Research Support Center with the participation of the Minister of Education and Science Przemyslav Kazarnik
Today, on September 16 of this year, the Clinical Research Support Center was officially opened at the National Institute of Geriatrics, Rheumatology and Rehabilitation. the professor. Doctor Hub. Med Eleonora Reicher in Warsaw. The event was attended by Minister Przemyslav Czarnik.
A systematic approach to clinical trials is extremely important. Thanks for the fact that the Institute of Geriatrics, Rheumatology and Rehabilitation is part of this great work – said the Minister. – I declare my openness to cooperation and support for the center. MEiN supervises more and more medical and medical colleges and this cooperation will develop between the Ministry of Health and MEiN – he added.
For MEiN, creating such a center is an important investment. It is an opportunity to develop the research competencies of all representatives of Polish science. The center will create the possibility of developing international cooperation as well as conducting scientific research with institutions from Poland, Europe and the USA.
The project is entitled “Establishment and Development of a Clinical Research Support Center funded by the Agency for Clinical Research at the National Institute of Geriatrics, Rheumatology and Rehabilitation. Prof. Dr. Haap. Med. Eleonora Reicher” funded by the Medical Research Agency. The subsidy for this purpose is approximately 10 million PLN.
In cooperation with the Ministry of Health, the Ministry of Education and Science cooperates in the field of science support aimed at solving the health problems of society. The Minister visited such centers in the United States of America and expressed his admiration for their modern infrastructure.
The creation of such places is a great opportunity for Polish science, the pharmaceutical industry and the health care system. It is also an opportunity to increase innovative treatments for the community, especially in the 60+ patient group.
