Orlen’s entry into the Hungarian market came as a result of concluding an agreement with MOL, which envisages The Hungarian company acquires 417 Lotus petrol stations in Poland. In return, Orlen will receive 144 stations in Hungary from 41 stations in Slovakia and several hundred million dollars.
This deal is part of the implementation of the so-called remedial measures set by the European Commission, which were a condition for Płock’s takeover of Grupa Lotos.

Orlen’s results
PKN Orlen reported that the net result of the entire group in the second quarter of this year increased to PLN 3.7 billion and was more than PLN 1.4 billion compared to the same period last year.
