– Radosław Majdan is not only a great football player and representative of Poland, but also an important figure in the widely understood Polish popular culture. However, what is most important to us is that he is an excellent football expert with extensive knowledge and interesting insights. Radosław Majdan was born on May 10, 1972. He began his career in Pogoń Szczecin, where he sang in 1989-2001 and 2006-2007. In total, he appeared in Ekstraklasa 189 times, as well as for Wisła Kraków (2003-2006) and Polonia Warszawa (2009-2010).
He also played for the Polish national team (2000-2002) and played seven matches. He played in the national team’s third match during the 2002 World Cup in Korea and Japan, when Poland defeated the United States 3-1.
In 2010, he ended his football career. He also worked on the Polonia Warsaw staff as a sporting director and goalkeeper coach. In May 2012 Radosław Majdan’s biography titled “The First Half”, a river talk conducted by Marek Łuszczyna.
In 2020, Majdan became expert at Canal Plus station, where he was a commentator on PKO BP Ekstraklasa. Previously, for two years he was an expert at Eurosport, worked on broadcasting from Ekstraklasa (for four seasons, Eurosport 2 showed two matches from each round of these competitions). Earlier, he collaborated, among others, with Polish TV and Eleven Sports.
You don’t underestimate the reputation of a celebrity. It does not explain the fits of youth. He did not have his career in the West Pomeranian Regional Council. He immersed himself in music, although – he admits – he had “a few years of rock ‘n’ roll”. Today his strength is his family. Radosław Majdan in an interview with Łukasz Kadziewicz recalls the biggest shocks, the most painful defeats and the toughest matches. He talks about karma, numerology and the magic set of leaves, thanks to which today he is a husband and a father. – I said to her: “Oh, Gretel, if you draw the Lady of Hearts, we are destined for each other” – she recalls. He also tells what he believes in, what rules he follows in life and how they were played in the times when Polish football was ruled by corruption.
