Javid, who has already received two doses of the Covid-19 vaccine, explained in a video posted on Twitter Friday night that he felt “a bit weak” and had a rapid antigen test, and since the result was positive, he was isolated with his family pending the result of the PCR test.
“I tested positive for Covid-19 this morning. I’m waiting for my PCR result, but luckily I’ve had vaccinations and symptoms are mild. Please get vaccinated if you haven’t already,” Javid said, noting that anyone feeling weak or was In contact with a person who has tested positive should undergo a rapid test. “If everyone does their part, it protects not only themselves and their loved ones, but also the NHS (Public Health Service – PAP), and helps maintain our lifestyle,” Javid emphasized.
