So they will go next year. There is a great comeback

Fans of the 2023 season will likely be looking forward to more excitement than what is currently going on. It’s all thanks to the sheer dominance of Max Verstappen, who with Red Bull has reached a level unattainable from the other competitors and is on the three-lane highway to a second title in a row. No wonder fans around the world are simply returning to next year’s struggles, which could be even more fierce.

We already know their first details. On Tuesday afternoon, the FIA officially approved the schedule. It must satisfy even the most disaffected. First of all – 24 races await the contenders and the legendary Spa-Francorchamps facility has not fallen off the calendar. Secondly – 2023 will be a year of returns, because after the outage caused by the Corona virus, the fastest cars in the world will appear in China. In addition, the timeline also shows Qatar, which has a long-term contract with Liberty Media.

The luckiest fans, however, will be for the US motorsport queen, where up to three rounds will take place. Max Verstappen and his cohorts will first arrive in Miami in May, followed by Austin and Las Vegas at the end of the season. This last race in particular promises to be very efficient, because the track string runs through the most iconic spots in the world-famous city.

The presence of as many as 24 races on the Formula 1 World Championship calendar is further evidence of the sport’s development and appeal on a global scale. The addition of new locations and the combination of all this with traditional venues underscores the judicious management of sport by the FIA. FIA President Mohamed Ben Sulayem said he is happy that in 2023 we will witness a lot of exciting races.

Next year’s competition will consist of 24 rounds, starting on March 5 in Bahrain and ending on November 26 in Abu Dhabi.
