“I do not think this is very likely given the number of Americans still to be expelled,” Adam Siff, chairman of the House of Representatives’ investigative committee, said Monday.
– If the United States or the United Kingdom need more time to proceed with the expulsion, the answer is no. Or there will be consequences – Shahin warned in an interview with the British Sky News Station.
The White House has not yet commented on the issue. However, Reuters news agency reported on Tuesday that pressure was mounting on Joe Biden’s management to negotiate an extension. This topic was to appear at the meeting of the leaders of the G7 countries.
– Priority must be given to completing the expulsion of our citizens and Afghanistan who have supported our efforts over the past 20 years – British Prime Minister Boris Johnson explained before the summit that he had personally extended the deadline for the presence of troops at Kabul airport.
