The Ministry of Health is increasingly relying on electronic tools. Now, using the Teleplatform of First Contact, we will be able to use a special application that, after saving the symptoms, will suggest the diseases we suffer from.
For more than a week, a special “Symptom Checker” function has been running on the Teleplatform of First Contact (TPK) website, which allows to accurately determine the patient’s health status and indicate a possible diagnosis of symptoms.
The symptom checker speeds up the diagnosis. The Minister of Health argues that this is a relief not only for the patient, but also for the doctor Adam Nidzelsky.

In the future, before every visit to the doctor
After obtaining the result, the application suggests the next actions to be taken, but also creates a special report on the interview.
We plan that the patient will have an initial interview before each visit to the doctor. We will provide this capability at the patient’s online account. This will speed up the diagnosis, and will also allow the appropriate treatment to be carried out faster – says Adam Nidzelsky.
First Contact Teleplatform operates at night, weekends and holidays, ie outside GP surgery hours and involves a teleconsultation with a doctor or nurse.
- In case of sudden illness, outside primary health care working hours,
- Sudden deterioration of health, when there are no symptoms indicating an immediate life-threatening condition, and the measures applied or over-the-counter medications have not brought the expected improvement,
- When there is a concern that waiting for a health care clinic to open may have a significant negative impact on your health.
The hotline is available on 800137200.
