In May 2019, we learned that Polish studio Starward Industries, affiliated with people who had previously worked on games like Cyberpunk 2077, The Witcher 3 or Dying Light, was working on a new sci-fi title. It was supposed to be a production based on one of Lem’s novels. Although many believed that it was about the famous “Solaris”, after a few months there was no doubt – the broadcast was about the novel with the title “Invincible”. The creators also revealed some details about the project. And so we were waiting for an exciting game that takes us to the world of the analog age. The hero will have to set out on a journey to an alien planet and survive the clash with deadly robots. We don’t have to think what the game will look like based on the screenshots. The first teaser appeared on the web.
Invincible has just received its first teaser trailer. The material comes from a pre-alpha version, but it really promises to play atmospheric.
Invincible was initially scheduled for release this year, but in the end, the developers conservatively decided to release the game the following year. It was created on Unreal Engine 4 and will appear on PC, PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X/S. In the game, we will play as a member of a group conducting an interstellar research mission. Unfortunately, the mission was interrupted by an emergency call coming from a ship that got lost in Regis III. After landing, it turns out that this planet is not the most friendly place in the galaxy and hides many secrets.
Game premieres – October 2021. What will you play? Updates include: Alan Wake Remastered, Far Cry 6 and Age of Empires IV
One of these secrets is hostile and inorganic creatures. The plot in the game is to be non-linear, and its course will change depending on our decisions. The main trailer, or actually a longer teaser, comes from the pre-alpha version of the game, but you can already see that we’ll be dealing with a Cold War-inspired style (as the creators themselves have previously spoken). You can also see that the game can have a similar atmosphere to other exploration adventures such as SOMA or non-cosmic adventures, but also the Firewatch thriller.
