The United States will purchase additional vaccines. They will send them to poor countries

The Washington Post wrote that the US president will announce the news this week ahead of the G7 summit in London. Biden flew to London on Wednesday evening. The G7 summit will run from Friday to Sunday.

Jake Sullivan, the U.S. president’s national security adviser, told reporters Wednesday that Biden was involved in distributing the vaccine “in the public health interest and in the strategic interests of the United States.” This is to show that “democracies are in the best place to provide solutions to people around the world.”

Cowie – a program that guarantees access to vaccines for developing countries, is a joint venture between the Coalition for Vaccines and Immunization, the Coalition for Infectious Disease Prevention (CBI) and the World Health Organization (WHO).
