Zelensky issued the appeal, via a video link, to the conference participants from the top business leaders at the CEO Summit at Yale University.
– Companies currently on the market of the Russian Federation should leave it forever if possible. The most important thing for us, Zelensky said, is not so much that they are leaving the Russian market, but that they are not using their taxes to fund the weapons with which the Russians are killing us.
The Ukrainian president stressed that he would like foreign companies to withdraw not only from Russia, but also to enter the Ukrainian market. – New jobs, which will be created in this way, are very important for Ukraine – he added.
Zelensky announced that Ukraine is ready to cooperate with foreign companies in many areas – from digitalization to renewable energy sources – and to discuss the terms of this cooperation.
