Creta Patel, a 26-year-old Australian, has been diagnosed with rare cancer after discovering a kind of “lump” in the back of her foot while bathing. The young woman, who lives in Vineyard, Australia, saw the disease spread through her lungs and will now have to learn to live with immunotherapy.
Patel noticed abnormalities in the skin while taking a bath, did some tests and was diagnosed with cancer. According to her, before she was diagnosed with the disease, when she was still 25, she had a cough for three weeks, but she did not even suspect that it might be a sign of a problem.
“I was in the rain one night and felt a lump on the back of my leg, which was the size of a golf ball. Unfortunately, after further investigation, I found that it had spread to my lungs and the doctors could not function,” Greta explained to Desite Live.
“I got married and bought a house, I was 25 and I was looking forward to planning everything. I started a new type of chemotherapy called immunotherapy to try to shrink the tumors in my lungs,” he said.
She could not walk alone due to Patel’s treatment. Her husband’s company compensates for the absence of other relatives who could not be with her due to the Govt-19 infection. “I’m trying to keep my spirits up, I hope to go on vacation as soon as the siege is lifted, and now I want to enjoy life as much as possible. I think positively, expect a miracle,” the Australian said.
