On Saturday 14 May, the “Zdrowie pod Kontrolą” campaign will take place at the Galeria Echo. Visitors to the shopping center will be able to take free swab tests, body composition tests, blood pressure and blood glucose measurements.
This event is organized by the members of the International Association of Medical Students IFMSA-Poland, Kielce Branch. The purpose of the campaign is to detect diseases of civilization or tumors at an early stage. We also want to tame children so they are not afraid to go to the doctor – says Piotr Pietrzyk of the IFMSA-Poland Association of Medicine Students, Kielce branch.
As part of the project, it will be possible to conduct free swab tests. It will be conducted in the cytobus – a mobile office for the ŚCO midwife at the entrance to the exhibition from Solidarnoci Street.
Visitors will also be able to perform an analysis of body mass and composition, check arterial pressure, blood sugar level, consult a nutritionist, and specialists will also tell you how to properly perform a self-examination of the breast. The organizers also prepared a platform for registering in the DKMS database, a first aid training platform, and for the smallest ward “Teddy Bear Hospital”.
