According to the German “Bild”, BVB has found a successor to Piszczek. Marius Wolf is getting his chance. The 26-year-old went to Dortmund in the summer of 2018 for €5 million from Eintracht Frankfurt. However, in Borussia, he was not able to break into the first team. He was loaned twice, first to Hertha Berlin and more recently to FC Köln. Kuzua fought to the end to stay in the German Bundesliga. In the end, they were able to do so after the playoff games against Holstein Kiel. In the first match, the backstage team won 1-0, but in the rematch, Colin left no illusions and won 5: 1. Wolf played in both matches.
The 26-year-old will get another chance to win a place in the BVB. Borussia’s new coach, Marco Rose, wants to see a German who can play in several positions. This season he played in attack, midfield and defense. The wolf seems to be able to handle the pendulum. Thomas Meunier and Felix Paslack were not on the same level. In the last season of the German League, Wolff played 31 matches, scoring 2 goals and scoring 3 assists.
