In the final season of the Second Division, the 31-year-old Kobesz played for the American team Salernitana. The Polish midfielder played as many as 31 league matches and scored three hits and two assists. The Pole was a very important figure in the team that finished second in Serie A matches in the table and after 22 years he is back in the Italian football elite.
Unfortunately, the new Serie A squad did not include the Polish midfielder. The former Jagielonia Biaystok player was sold to Pordenone Calcio, who in the last season of Serie B in Italy was 15th in the table, being a hair from relegation to the lower league.
In Pordenone’s dressing room, Calcio Kubis will meet another Polish, left-back Adam Cherzanowski, who joined the club a year ago after a move from Lecia Gdansk. Everything seems to indicate that next season the Polish team will have the opportunity to participate regularly in the Italian second division.
Throughout his career, Tomasz Kupisz played 184 games at the back of the Italian Premier League, scoring 19 goals and scoring 21 assists.
