Ukrainian aviation passes very low over public roads, rivers and flat fields. In this way, the pilots want to confuse the Russian radars and remain “unnoticed” on the screens of operators of anti-aircraft systems.
In many cases, machines are moving at very high speeds, tens or even several meters above the ground. Thanks to this, they are able to perform the tasks assigned to them in a difficult combat environment. This requires great skill from the pilots.
The Ukrainian Regional Defense published a video of a low crossing over the highway Su-25 fighter and attack aircraft. Other recordings showed Mi-24 attack helicopters and Mi-8 / Mi-17 transport helicopters.
Polsatnews.pl reports that this kind of work for Ukrainian pilots is not new. They acted in a similar way during the Donbas war in 2015, when the Russians armed separatists with anti-aircraft weapons.
