United States. The Supreme Court has stopped vaccinating employees working in large companies

The judgment of the court does not presuppose the legality of the rule on compulsory vaccinations, but the judgment of the lower courts as to whether such legislation applies at the time necessary to hear it.

In the first of the published results, the Supreme Court ruled by a 6-3 vote that the obligation to undergo vaccination or weekly trials prescribed by OSHA should be suspended. Among other things, the relationship between justification, higher costs of enforcing regulations, and decision-making and job security was called into question.

Most judges concluded that similar regulations would justify workplaces that are particularly vulnerable to the spread of Covit-19, and are skeptical of extending the order to all large companies employing a total of 80 million Americans or two-thirds of the workforce. To us.

In the second judgment, adopted by a 5-4 vote, the judges decided that the vaccination obligation would apply to all employees of medical facilities providing services under the Medical and Medical Assistance State Health Insurance Program. In justifying the judgment, the court found that these actions fall within the statutory powers of the Minister of Health and were justified against the Govt-19 epidemic. The decision is about 17 million medical staff.

In response to Thursday’s rulings, President Joe Biden urged employers to impose vaccination obligations on themselves, regardless of court rulings, as many large U.S. companies have done. Biden noted that the number of Americans who have not been vaccinated has dropped by more than 55 million since the decision to introduce compulsory vaccines was announced.
