The Oregon reports that Nike plans to lay off workers who have not been vaccinated against Govt-19. We need to stop collaborating with people who work in the management of one of the largest employers in Portland, USA.

According to The Oregon newspaper, Nike sent out a notice of dismissal on Saturday, January 15, 2022, to workers who had not been vaccinated. This applies to those who do not provide a certificate confirming medical or religious discrepancies that exempt them from vaccination.

The decision to lay off is the result of the company’s policy of informing employees in October 2021 that they will return to their offices in January 2022, which requires vaccination. However, due to the increased incidence of the Omigron variant, this revenue will be delayed until February 2022.

Nike is another employer in the United States that wants its employees to be vaccinated against COVID-19. However, the clothing brand makes it the size of a city – Portland, on the other hand Citigroup’s bank recently announced that it was laying off workers across the country for the same reason.
