Water broke and flooded the streets of Sports McLaren – such a photo was published on Wednesday by one of the active Americans on social media. A regular showcase for luxury cars, the vehicle was reportedly washed away from his garage by water. 12 days ago, he boasted about buying this sports car.

The influencer who goes by the name Ernie runs an Instagram profile with a following of over a million users. He regularly posts photos of the luxury cars he claims to have in his garage.

McLaren was flooded with water

On September 16, he presented his new car – the McLaren P1 sports car. Only 375 cars of this car were produced. They were initially priced at USD 1.35 million (approx. PLN 6.75 million), however, due to limited availability, they are currently being sold for approximately USD 2.9 million, which is approximately PLN 14.5 million.

On Wednesday, a new photo was posted on the profile, showing water breaking through the streets of the city and a flooded McLaren. As can be seen from the caption below the photo, the car has been hijacked by the elements from a closed garage. The photo was liked more than 50,000 times in a dozen or so hours. users.

Earlier in the day, someone posted a photo of the same car with the caption, “My Hurricane Delivery Car,” which translates to “My Hurricane Delivery Truck.” American media reported that the McLaren was the victim of Hurricane Ian, which hit Florida on Wednesday evening.

Hurricane Ian hits Florida’s southwest coast
